June 2020 Goals

I can't believe we''re in June, half way through the disaster that is 2020 already. I know I said at the start of this year that I wasn't going to be doing goals posts anymore, but seeing as it's been a while and I'm not really achieving a whole lot without setting myself goals, I thought I'd re start them. I've limited myself to just five manageable goals this month in the hopes that I can achieve them all.

But first, let's talk about the past couple of months. April and May seem to have raced by and I haven't got a lot to show for it, other than a couple of online purchases. I stopped blogging briefly in April as I needed a bit of a break and came back to it in May with a ton of inspiration. Since then, I've been blogging twice a week and I aim to keep this momentum going throughout June and into July.

Lockdown hasn't been easy, but at the same time it has been, because it means I don't have to challenge my anxiety by going out anywhere. I've definitely enjoyed having the time to think, even though it can work against me sometimes, and I'm feeling really creative lately, which is nice.

A few days ago I made the decision to delete my 2nd blog, it got nowhere near as much traffic as this blog and I thought it'd be a nice idea to start posting my poetry on Instagram where more people are likely to see it. The views aren't everything, but my goal is to get my poetry out there and I think Instagram will be the best platform for this, although I'm struggling with some of my poems as they're pretty long so I don't know how to post them on there, but I'll figure a way around it.

Anyway, onto my goals for June:

Reach 210,000 pageviews on my blog.
Read 2 books.
Post twice a week to my blog.
Post poetry to my Instagram.
Take blog photos in bulk.

So those are my goals for this month!
