Rimmel London Magnif'eyes Electric Violet Edition Palette Review

I'm back with a quick review today of the Rimmel London Magnif'eyes Electric Violet Edition Palette. I bought this palette for £8.99 from Boots and today I just wanted to let you know my thoughts on it.

What drew me to this palette was of course the range of purples the palette has. I fell in love with shade range and adored the fact that it had other colours incorporated into it. That blue though is too die for.

However, despite how this palette grabbed my attention, I've found that I'm just not using it that much, which is weird because I'm a pink and purple eyeshadow kind of person, but these shades just fall flat of my expectation, except the blue, which is the palettes only redeeming factor.

You can create a range of eyeshadow looks using this palette though as it comes with a neutral matte shade and a black so its perfect for smokey eyes. So I don't know what it is about this palette but it's not living up to my initial impression of it.

Whether it's the colour story, which is fine but not super-impressive when taking a second look at it, or because I've got other palettes from the likes of Revolution which I'm getting more use out of, but it's just not doing it for me.
