5 things to do when you're having a bad day


We all have bad days from time to time, and they can really get us down and lead to many more bad days if we're not careful. It's always important when you're having a bad day to keep a few things in mind, so here goes my list of things to do when you're not feeling your best.

First things first, if you're having a bad day, grab a cuppa tea and read this post.

Remember there's always tomorrow:

Just because today isn't going too well, doesn't mean tomorrow's a write-off. Keep that in mind when you're having a bad day, there's plenty more days full of opportunity left.

Self care:

Self care is so important and I'll be doing a post all about self-care very soon, but in the meantime, if you're having a bad day make time to do a self-care routine.

Make time to relax:

Making time to relax is so important at the end of a stressful day, so sit back, watch some TV and have a brew. It's a bad day, not a bad life.

Set aside time to do something you like:

Just as important as relaxing is setting aside time to do an activity you like, it could be anything from playing on the x-box (or playstation if that's your thing), pursuing a hobby you like or going for a coffee. 

Talk to someone about it:

If you're having a bit of a wobble, tell someone, have a vent or a rant at them, you'll find you'll feel so much better with it out in the open. It's always good to have someone to talk to as bottling things up over a long period of time can lead to you feeling depressed and stressed.
