2019 Vision Board

I've been wanting to do a vision board for years, so when I saw one in 'in the moment' magazine, I was so excited.
For those of you who don't know what a vision board is, just a quick summary, it's a collage where you plot down your goals and wishes using pictures and bullet points and whatever else is inspiring to you.
I can add to this board as the year goes on.

For me, this year is all about pursuing what I love and looking after myself better. I took a look at my 9 goals for 2019 blog post to help me with this vision board and I found that really useful.

This board is divided into six sections which helps me split up the different areas of my life perfectly.

Self Care is high up on my agenda for this year, I need to remember to look after myself and take time to relax as sometimes I forget. I need to carry on practising mindfulness techniques and take up yoga to really better myself.

This year I'm going to challenge myself by designing and making festival clothing - it's something I've thought long and hard about but it's quite ambitious of me considering I'm not the best at sewing. Oh well, we'll see what happens. I'm also going to be more open about mental health on my blog as its a topic I'm passionate about and there's so much I have to say on it.

I'm hoping to go abroad for the first time this year, but I am definitely travelling to some cities for the day. I don't know what other adventures lay ahead of me yet but this is something I'll add to as the year goes on. I'm hoping to be more spontaneous this year and seek adventure in the everyday.

My goal this year is to start earning money from freelance writing, I love the idea of working from home. With sites like fiverr, upwork and freelancer.com making it so easily accessible to find this kind of work, I haven't got an excuse not to at least try it. I also aim to volunteer somewhere, maybe a dog kennel or a charity shop.

Family & Friends:

I plan to keep family and friends close this year and to make an effort with them. Last year I wasn't in a place to really connect with people, so I'm hoping this year will be the fresh start I need.

This year I will, whenever things get rough, remember how far I've come, I'll celebrate every little achievement whether they're personal or to do with blogging. I'm also going to pursue all my favourite hobbies.

So, that's my 2019 vision board I hope this inspires you to possibly start your own.
