5 Christmas Movies To Cosy Up To

The good thing about Christmas is that daytime TV is actually decent, so for today's post I'm reeling off my top 5 Christmas movies that are perfect to watch cosy under a blanket and with plenty of snacks.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

The perfect blend of Halloween and Christmas, The Nightmare Before Christmas is ideal for the transition into Winter. I adore the animation in this Tim Burton classic, and it's one I'm definitely going to be re-watching this holiday season. (Though, for the record, The Corpse Bride is better in terms of the story line).

How The Grinch Stole Christmas

Starring Jim Carrey and Taylor Momsen way before her days as vocalist for The Pretty Reckless, How the Grinch Stole Christmas stands out amongst the mass amounts of Christmas movies as actually being a decent watch - an absolute classic.

Love Actually

The only reason why I watch this film is because it's comedic to watch Andrew Lincoln prior to his days as the zombie-fighting Rick Grimes. Good news for those of you wanting to watch it, it's on Netflix!

We're throwing it back to the eighties with Gremlin's, and whilst the special effects and what not may seem incredibly sub-par these days, it still serves as great viewing this holiday season.

Bridget Jones' Diary

The Christmas movie that's not technically a Christmas movie, but is still considered a great Christmas movie nonetheless. It's one I remember watching a lot growing up and it still remains a festive staple.
