What I've achieved in 2019

10:00

Today I thought it'd be a nice idea to sit down and make a list of all the things I've achieved in 2019. I've got to say though, it was a very short list. This year I've mostly been battling with my mental health and trying myself in a better position with this, but saying that there are a few things I've achieved that at the start of the year I didn't think possible. So, it's all good.

Completed a confidence building short course.

I haven't been to any educational establishments in about four years, and when I was there my anxiety was so bad I couldn't cope. This year, I've completed a short course in confidence building, it may not seem like much, but it was a big step forward for me and I faced a lot of my fears in going to this.

Surpassed 100,000 page views on my blog.

This year I've reached around 160,000 page views on my blog and I've had more views this year than the previous four years of blogging combined so I've done really well with that.

Went to an anxiety group.

Learning more about anxiety has really helped me in managing it day to day. I'm doing more now than I have in previous years and things are going well. Of course, it's still a daily battle and sometimes my anxiety gets so bad I won't leave my home but I'm getting there...slowly.

Wrote about topics that really matter to me on my blog.

This year I've moved away from writing about beauty products, of course I still love doing that, but I've been writing more lifestyle and wellbeing posts and enjoy putting my opinion out there on these types of topics. I feel like I'm really starting to get something out of my blog now and couldn't imagine life without it.

Read 5 books.

I'd been wanting to get back into reading for a while, and I'm glad I did. I've read about seven or eight books in total this year and I've really enjoyed reading them.

So, that was my short list of achievements in 2019! That's all for today's post,
Beth.
