Fair-Weather Friends | Poetry

I've had my share of fair-weather friends
Who'll dance with me when the sun is out
But run and hide when it rains
And I can't go through it again
The heartache and the loss I feel,
When I'm standing in a storm on my own
So loneliness is where I call home.

So here's something a bit different for you today. I thought I'd share my poetry on here seeing as more people tend to see it than on my Instagram stories. Hope you enjoyed it, I know it's not great but each poem I write is a little pouring out of my soul.

I'd love to know your thoughts in the comments below, and I hope to upload more of my poetry in the near future.
