10 Tips for a productive weekend

There are 48 hours in a weekend, more if you include Friday evening, and some weekends you just want to get stuff done. Some weekends, you may need to get stuff done. Well, if that's you, I've compiled a list of tips to help you get more out of your weekend.



Make a plan.

First things first, you're going to want to make a plan of what to do that weekend.

Write to-do lists.

I love to-do lists, they're so useful. This way, you can see what needs to be done, where you're at and what you've accomplished that weekend.

Analyse where you're at.

Take some time to analyse where you're at in terms of what you need to do. 

Plan your week ahead.

Planning you're week ahead can not only boost productivity throughout the week, it also makes you feel a hell of a lot better too.

Declutter.

A cluttered space reflects a cluttered mind.

Get an early night.

If you're like me and you tend to do all your work at night, why not try something different and get an early night?

Wake up early.

By getting an early night, you can wake up earlier, reset your body clock and do all that needs to get done during daylight hours.

Finish that project.

You know that project you've been putting off? Use your weekend to get it done, or at least make a good start at it.

Schedule downtime.

As highlighted in my The Pressure to be Productive blog post, scheduling time to relax is so important.

Exercise.

Exercise can not only give you a much needed break from your to-do lists, but it also makes you feel better too.
