4 Ways Blogging Has Helped Me

10:00

Blogging has helped me so much over the past four years in ways I never would've thought when I first started quirks and queries. It is such an amazing tool to use for personal growth and I've come so far since I have started blogging. I'm thinking of doing a separate blog post on how to use blogging as a tool for personal growth but that's for the future. Anyway, here are the four ways blogging has helped me by allowing me to:

It's been nearly five years now since I first began blogging and in that time it's helped me in a number of ways.

Connect Socially:

For starters it helps me to connect socially with other like-minded people through my social media platforms and through the comments. I'm quite an introverted person, as you can see in my socialising as an introvert post, so being able to talk to other bloggers online really helps me.

Connect professionally:

It also helps me connect professionally as well with brands and PR people, which is good practice for the field of work I want to go into. It also makes me feel good about myself whenever I do have these kinds of interactions and trust me, they don't happen on a daily basis so when they do come around I'm always super excited.

Express myself creatively:

It helps me to express myself creatively through posting my poetry and talking about topics I love as well as through photography too. It provides such a great creative outlet for me and to be honest, I'd be lost without my blog, I'd have nothing to do with myself and no way of venting and reeling off all my creative thoughts and I find the whole thing to be really therapeutic. See my creativity as an outlet for anxiety post for more info on how this blog helps me.

Improve my writing:

Lastly, it helps me improve my writing. Seeing other bloggers at the top of their game just drives me to be a better writer and blogger, I'm constantly wanting to improve and with each post I feel myself becoming a better and better writer.

Just a short post today but I was wondering how does blogging help you?

  3. It's amazing what blogging can do isn't it? I've been blogging nearly two years, and now I can't imagine not doing it! I think for me I echo yours, but it really helps with my creativeness and forces me to do stuff when I wouldn't have otherwise. Its also good at pushing out of your comfort zone too!

  4. Blogging helps me in so many ways. The writing itself helps me sort out my own thoughts about a topic; the act of putting my thoughts into words helps me gain clarity. I also find that it helps me so much to have a product to view when I'm done - something to point to that I created! In my daily job, I often don't get to see fruits of my labor - so blogging really help me keep going!

  6. I'm also super introverted, so connecting with other bloggers has pushed me out of my comfort zone in the most helpful of ways! It's also given me so many relevant skills to use to pitch myself when applying for jobs. Great post!
