Bourjois Mega Liner Review

The Bourjois Mega Liner in Ultra Black (bottom) along with some other bits & pieces.

This is my first beauty review of 2017, which is funny since my blog has been primarily beauty based since it began. I've been focusing a lot on including different post types on my blog, like dream analysis posts and fashion wishlists. From now on, I'm going to aim to write a beauty related post at least once a month as its something I enjoy writing and talking to you about.

After treating myself to some new eyeliner, which I spent way too long trying choosing, I thought I'd let you know my thoughts.

I've never been one to buy Bourjois, it's a brand that's admittedly slipped my gaze for years, but I felt like opting for a brand that's new to me, you know, just to spice things up a little and I'm happy with my purchase of the Mega Liner in Ultra Black..

The gold and black pen shaped liner is chiselled tip which, I find, lets me flow more with the natural shape of my eye compared to other eyeliners I've had. Using it to add some general pizzaz to my eye area, it's proving to be very long lasting and quick to dry. On the first evening of having it, I tested it out by applying it at night and to my surprise it was actually in tact in the morning, if you're after long-lasting wear it really is for you.

Another problem I've had with eyeliner in the past is it takes way too long to dry, meaning when I blink, it imprints on the top of my eyelid, destroying the eyeshadow I worked so hard to apply neatly along with it. With the mega liner though, it dries quick so I haven't had this problem, although I've probably jinxed it now.

The liner leaves such a definite, striking line.

I suppose time will tell if this eyeliner will stay black, or fade to grey like the Maybelline Superstay did after a few weeks, but I've got high hopes for it and I'm really liking it so far.

At £7.49 from superdrug, it's a very high-street friendly eyeliner that does what you'd want it to and one I'd recommend if you're a felt tip liner fan like me.
