Monthly Favourites: April 2016

10:39

Yet another month has passed in 2016...

Here's a round up of this month's favourites

Purepotions Skin Salvation Cream & Body Oil
I received both of these items as review items last year, as you can see in my August Favourites post from last year. With recent dry skin problems, it's coming in such help. On another note, Sam also burnt himself on a light bulb and the cream really helped soothe the pain & protect it.

Revlon Colourbust Matte Lip Balm
As an everyday, it's been my favourite for quite some time but I lost it in my drawer and dug it up the other day whilst tidying up...so here it is in my favourite's post; again.

Pack of 6 Coasters
50p from a charity shop. That is all that needs to be said.

Pizza Hut
I've never really visited much in the past, purely because of the price and I'm the sort of person that would rather buy a pizza from Asda or Sainsbury's and some nice snacks and ice cream for a fraction of the price instead. Nevertheless, with a few leisure vouchers and a reserve £15 to cover any extras - extras are good, Sam & I ambled over to our table for two and managed to get a BBQ meat feast share size pizza, two drinks & two ice creams for a few quid. (£2.09) It was pretty quiet as well and despite experiencing one of my awkward moments, where I clam up & get reserved...it normally happens in unfamiliar places/situations as soon as I tried out the drinks machine and got my Lime Pepsi I was fine. (I forgot to mention the free salad bowl  too)

Amazon Prime
I took out the free month of Amazon Prime so I could get free 1 day postage on AMZ review items for a month, and as a part of the Amazon Prime package you get access to AP video (like Netflix), and it has a fair amount to choose from. This month Seamus, Sam and myself watched Fear The Walking Dead as well as quite a few movies.
At an annual price of £89, it's something I am definitely considering purchasing when I've not got Slam Dunk festival to prepare for and as I am hoping to continue with AMZ reviews, I don't want to be limited by what products offer free P+P.

Lancôme energie de vie moisturiser (Sample)
I received this as a so post sample, but genuinly really like it. Good for 'waking' your skin up in the morning, the lightweight moisturiser leaves skin feeling energised.

Seamus' Favourites

Barkin' Heads Strawberry & Cream bites

£1.99 Pink Flamingo toy from Home Bargains

The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

Marley & Me

Sam's Favourites

ArtNaturals Beard & Stache Oil - received as an AMZ review item

That's all for now!
