Opening up my readership...

When it all started, my blogging journey was solely based on skincare - since then I've expanded a fair bit in terms of what I post under the beauty catagory; makeup, haircare etc.
I'd also consider myself a lifestyle blog too - posting about the more fun fueled day trips to the nitty gritty daily goings on.
I can't help but feel though that my blog is somewhat view-able through a porthole window, it's not something that just grabs anyone and everyone's eye, only the select few that care to look. Of course, a blog will never appeal to everyone and obviously that should never be a bloggers' goal. I would however, quite like to expand what I write about. Soley about topics that interest (or really disinterest) me; delving into my hobbies like photography, certain fashions as well as being frugal. I've already touched upon these with posts like: 'I've been photographing', 'Chester Zoo: Belated Birthday' & 'A Late Winter's Walk: Update Of The Day' but want to continue and include more similar posts.

Another idea I have is including the pooches more. A lot of people own dogs, so it makes sense that a lot of people would take an interest in dog related product reviews/favourites/vlogs etc. Seamus in particular loves to pose for photos: say the word 'fresh' to him and he strikes a pose - looking majestically to the side, looking up and just generally working the camera. Maximus on the other hand will not stay still for anything, but he does have a loud voice and a very strong opinion; he approves muchly when people stop and listen to him. Finally, there's George who'd much rather chew up the cardboard packaging any product came in.

Another possibility is including le boyfriend with company collaborations. I've reviewed one male marketed product set in the past, sure - and very much appreciated the Bulldog Facial Scrub & Moisturiser. But I think it could open up a lot more doors for the blog having someone else's viewpoint too.

If I were to go through with these ideas, some blog design would be neccesary - pages for posts under a certain hashtag for each catagory; lifestyle, women's, men's, pooch, etc. It would also give me a reason to redesign my header image, as I'm growing tiresome of that one and don't feel it adds anything to my blog anymore.

That's all
